Apple unveiled its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three refreshed versions of existing models as well as the new iPhone 17 Air, that replaces the Plus. If camping out on release day isn't your style, and you still need to grab one right away, you will be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, ahead of the September 19 release date.
Aplpe’s iPhone 17 has a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after much anticipation (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone finally includes a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, Apple’s new A19 chip is faster as well navigate here as more energy-efficient, particularly when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will notice a huge bump in speed and improved gameplay thanks to ProMotion.
On the camera front, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) as well as a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and much more impressive.
